How it started
In December of 2022, three friends decided to gather for a holiday dinner. Melanie made her Québécois speciality of cipåte (a giant meat and potato pie), and Lisa and Sarah brought the Beaujolais. The wine was flowing, and as we ate, we started discussing the lives and personalities of each bottle. Over the next few months, whenever we met up for a glass of wine, we would come up with stories and personalities to describe them. At first, we thought it was just a silly activity, but then we started to think that this could be a fun and approachable way to share wine tasting.
How it’s going
Thus, the New Wine, Who Dis? podcast was born! It’s been a year+ in the making, because life is busy and complicated, but we also love to eat, drink, and gossip about the secret lives of our wine.
